i'm doubting about deleting my ritu to make a para
Hi,
nowadays i don't play my ritu anymore and i'm doubting about deleting my ritu to make a para, but i'm not sure about doing this
is a para better then a ritu, or would it be a waste to delete my ritu?
she's got vanguard armor with glacials, quite sad if that has to go

Forget armor, question is do you enjoy playing here? Would you enjpoy playing a paragon more? Do you have to delete a character?

Tried restoration or hybrid? Hybrid can be quite challenging...but if that can't get you interested then go play a Paragon :P Personally I've tried both and they're both quite boring especially when you've played an Elementalist, Mesmer or Dervish. But yeah it's your character so you decide.

Did you ever play it?
It's spam on recharge with c+space.
I simply can't play my para any longer because it's just so freaking boring.
(Ritu on the other hand is my main. PvE skills + AP + channeling = sweet, sweet, sweet, SWEET love!)

Just because you play a paragon doesn't mean that you have to use the Imbagon build. The only character I play is my paragon, but I'm not going to use a build that everyone uses simply because its "omgwtfbbq overpowered". GW is about variety, not having the same build as everyone else. (As much as HB Monks, Ursan, Terras, ect have disproven this)

I would just buy another character slot. Last time i deleted a character for a new one i ended up regretting it.

First yeah I'd agree with those that have said buy a char slot if you can, that way no foul, no cry.
If you can't then you have to ask yourself what reasons you have to keep the Rit, titles, chance of mini-pet if they have a birthday, chance of suddenly deciding you really want to play it again!
If none of those apply or matter to you then sure delete it, the worse thing you get is hating para's and having to reroll the rit.

Don't make a para. I made one, invested ~50-60k in him and I barely play him anymore. Sometimes when my guild needs a cruel spear/imbagon for vanquish/UW/FoW.
Rit, however, finished Cantha and is still used sometimes.

Since Rit is my favorite class to play with. I would have to say dont delete it. If you get the right builds Rits can do spike damage just as well as any other class if not better. If you can buy another char slot for the reasons that have already been mentioned in previos post.

I had one slot, I made a para.
I got bored at level 20...
keep your rit, they are much, much more versatile.
edit: i've ben tru EotN with him, didn't use the imbagon build. After killing the great destroyer (oups spoiler tag), I saw I was still using a 20AL armor... it's just too easy.

I love my rit and lately i've been playing a rt/p build thats kinda fun for pvp. Use spirit's strength and sight beyond sight, then a channeling/restoration weapon spell (i recommend weapon of aggresion but go with restoration if you want a self heal), and a bunch of spear attacks. Maybe try it out instead of deleting your rit?

I wouldn't, but that's because I find Rit more fun. Paragons are a bitch role, but it depends what you like to play.

paragon has been my main ever since NF came out.
The good thing about them is that u can actually join pugs and dont have to be ursan
but yh i think paragons are better than ritus
u can have amazing fun trying allt heir buffs out and trying to come up with builds to help u through the game other than imbagon
if u want a challenge though dont go paragons. i can do FoW with my guild and watch TV at the same time. paras are just too strong for PvE so they arent that challenging, but they are huge fun

I wouldn't delete your ritualist. Paragons are too easy to get things done with, it's boring. I ended up getting survivor without really trying, never had to run/log to avoid deaths in other words. I hardly play my ritualist, but I never play my paragon now, just got him through the games and done. Ritualist is much more fun to play, don't spirit spam though, that is boring.
I would rather go with the character slots idea that other's suggested before considering deleting a character. If you have a PvP character that you don't use and that isn't very old (if you care about mini pets), then delete that and make your paragon there.

rit>para in fun factor
rit<para in terms of efficiency (if the player was average)
Even if the imbagon becomes twice as powerful , I doubt I would play them , too boring.

Play Resto Rit on HM Norn Farm or HM FoW Run with idiot Ursans...you'll definitely enjoy it. Either that or tear your hair out! Honestly tho...IMO Rits >>>>>> Paras...but then again, its your call!
